We are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking initiative by BINAE Education Foundation in collaboration with Rotary Club of Karachi Silver Sands and National Bank of Pakistan towards greater financial inclusion for visually impaired persons. The NBP Shaheed-e-Millat branch is specifically designed to be fully accessible for all persons with disabilities, also providing forms in Braille for easy reading for visually impaired persons. This initiative marks a significant milestone, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility in banking services.
National Bank of Pakistan is lauded for its leadership in the banking industry, employing a greater number of disabled individuals compared to other banks and significantly increasing the number of accounts opened for persons with disabilities. The opening of the first 5 accounts for blind persons is a testament to their commitment to inclusivity. Notably, National Bank of Pakistan employs a considerable number of persons with disabilities, further demonstrating their dedication to diversity and accessibility in the workplace.
@Mehmood Akhtar Nadeem, Group Head Operations conveyed the message of Mr Rehmat Hasnie that he was extremely proud that NBP had become the Pioneer in taking the step towards Banking and Financial Inclusion in Pakistan.
Mr. Zaigham Mahmood Rizvi, former advisor of the World Bank and founder of #www.PWDs-network.net motivated the audience with his inspiring speech.
